The marine works have been carried out by the offshore construction vessel, Deep Explorer.

All of the 15 anchors are installed at the location and are extending maximum 3 metres above seabed.

Statoil is currently mounting the five Siemens 6MW turbines on their respective SPAR-type floating foundations off Stord, Norway.

The assembled constructions will then be transported to the installation site and anchored in water depths of between 90 and 120 metres.

The 30MW floating wind farm, owned by Statoil (75%) and Masdar (25%), is expected to be commissioned in late 2017.
