The turbine components are being loaded onto a ship at the Port of Esbjerg, Denmark.

The three nacelles and generators were manufactured at GE’s Offshore Wind facility in Saint-Nazaire, France, while the blades were manufactured by LM Wind Power in Denmark.

The towers for the three wind turbines were manufactured locally in China.

Fuqing Haixia Electricity Generation Company, a joint venture between China Three Gorges and Fujian Energy, ordered the three turbines from GE in March 2017.

The contract also includes technical support and a two-year operation and maintenance (O&M) service.

The installation is expected to take place during the last quarter of 2017.

GE Renewable Energy is one of the several wind turbine suppliers to participate in the 73MW wind farm project, which will comprise 14 wind turbines.
