Global Renewables Shipbrokers Opens U.S. Office

Global Renewables Shipbrokers (GRS), a Germany-based shipbroker for offshore tonnage in renewable energy, has opened an office in Atlanta, Georgia, the U.S.

Global Renewables Shipbrokers (GRS), a Germany-based shipbroker for offshore tonnage in renewable energy, has opened an office in Atlanta, Georgia, the U.S.

Matthias Mross, GRS Managing Partner, said that the U.S. office is an important step for GRS as part of its growth strategy.

GRS Managing Partner Philippe Schönefeld said: “Being close to our clients and ship owners is of primary importance for us. Now they can benefit from very close collaboration and personal support in the US as well.”

From Atlanta, Alexander Gentsch will be in charge of the GRS network in the U.S., the Gulf of Mexico Area and the Caribbean Sea.

The company stated that the decision to set up the branch office abroad and at a new continent is another real milestone for GRS which is geared towards international business.
