Terium has held various positions at innogy’s parent company RWE AG since 2003, first as Head of Group Controlling and later as CEO of various subsidiaries.

In July 2012, he became CEO of RWE AG, and four years later, Terium took over the position of CEO of the newly established subsidiary innogy SE, which was introduced on the stock exchange in October 2016.

“On behalf of all members of the Supervisory Board, I would like to thank Peter Terium for his successful work. Under his leadership, RWE AG, the parent company of innogy, has found the right answer to the German energy transition,” Dr. Werner Brandt, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of innogy SE, said. “Peter Terium has made a significant contribution to the successful Group’s restructuring.”

The Supervisory Board will decide on the succession in due course, but until then Uwe Tigges will assume the position of CEO on a temporary basis.

Currently, Tigges holds the position of the Chief Human Resources Officer and Labour Director at the company.
