The company’s 5MW platform includes models with 128m, 151m, and 171m rotor diameters.

For the H151-5MW, CSIC signed a strategic collaboration agreement with LM Wind Power in November 2016, under which LM is delivering blades for the turbine.

The first 5MW wind turbine with a rotor diameter of 171m was assembled in Jiangsu on August 11, with the Design Assessment for the model issued recently.

CSIC is developing the Jiangsu Rudong 300MW offshore wind farm, off Jiangu Province, for which the onshore construction started this year. The wind farm will comprise the H151-5MW turbines.
