Siemens and Murphy to Bring Triton Knoll Shopping List to Lincolnshire

J Murphy & Sons and Siemens Transmission and Distribution, who will build the Triton Knoll’s onshore electrical system –starting this summer – will bring their “shopping lists” on 31 January to Boston College, Lincolnshire, where they will be hunting for local services required for the completion of the project, providing an opportunity for local businesses to get onboard.

At the ‘meet the contractor’ event, organised by Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm and the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub, businesses will be able to hear about the project and meet the contractors in person.

J Murphy & Sons has been appointed to deliver the onshore underground cable circuits from near Anderby Creek through to Bicker Fen, while Siemens Transmission and Distribution will be responsible for the construction of the onshore substation at Bicker Fen. The companies are looking for suppliers for a wide range of services such as hedgerow clearance, ground and surfacing services, hauliers, catering and office supplies, security, accommodation and local labour.
