Impuls Zeeland is looking for partner companies to participate in the Interreg-2 project “Ship hybridisation/ H2 fuel application for Crew Transportation Vessels”, which focuses on offshore wind farms, inland shipping and fast ferries.

Set up with Flemish partners, the project will investigate the possibilities of ship hybridisation/ H2 with the goal of executing pilot projects for hydrogen fuel application on ships.

Companies participating will be in charge of applying knowledge of hybrid and emission-free fuels and implementing and delivering one or more pilot projects in this field.

The aim is to investigate and talk with interested parties to determine the scope of work of the project and possible contributions of each project partner.

The project, which will remain open until 2 May, includes subsidies that governments, public institutions, private parties and non-profit organisations can apply for.

The Interreg-2 project aims at developing an innovative, knowledge-based and research-based, sustainable and inclusive sea areas, where natural resources are protected and the green economy is promoted.

The programme subsidises projects along the English Channel and the North Sea from England, Flanders, France and the Netherlands (up to Texel).
