Fassmer produces components made of FRP (glass-fibre reinforced plastic) for manufacturers of wind turbines. The company’s Core products are nacelle and spinner claddings, parts for rotor blades, ring channels for the tower construction, housings for transmission paths and other components made of glass-fibre composite materials.

The company believes that offering a one-stop-shop solution to the clients ”generates a true value increase.”

“With the production of nacelle and spinner claddings for the onshore and offshore sectors, we have a wealth of experience potential in the FRP and wind segment. The extension of our performance to include servicing offers represents a consistent and integrated expansion of our competence. Our aim is to offer the operations and maintenance (O&M) services market the best possible service standards and problem solving concepts,” said Sebastian Temporale, Managing Director of Fassmer Industrial Service GmbH & Co. KG.

The company took the first steps to develop the service area last year. In 2017, Fassmer delivered various parts for the offshore wind farms N1, Nordergründe and Nordsee Ost in Germany, while Fassmer Industrial Service was also active with its new services offer.
