Wind Innovation will provide accommodation services to approximately 50 guests at the undisclosed offshore wind project, which is most likely Ørsted’s Hornsea Project One wind farm.

According to C-bed, the works begin in July, while the company will use Immingham, UK, as the base port for the crew change and loading of fresh supplies.

Most of the personnel transfers from shore to the vessel are expected to take place by helicopter.

In 2015, C-bed bought and completely re-built the former seismic survey vessel into a floating four-star hotel and project basecamp.

Located some 120km off the coast of Yorkshire, Hornsea Project One will be the biggest offshore wind farm in the world once operational in 2020.
