Oceanteam Appoints New CEO

The Dutch-Norwegian offshore service provider Oceanteam ASA has appointed Leidus Bosman as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from 15 October.

Bosman will succeed Diederik Legger, the interim CEO and former Board Member, who will remain with the company in the position of an advisor to the Board of Directors.

According to Oceanteam, the new CEO has a broad international experience in the offshore industry, among others, as part of the management of the Seafox Group and an academic background in economics.

“In new and exciting times in our market, the time is right for a new leadership to successfully implement our growth strategy and take advantage of the upcoming opportunities. Mr. Bosman is an industry leader with a proven track record of execution. We are fortunate to have someone of Leidus’ calibre and experience to step up to lead Oceanteam,” said Keesjan Cordia, Chairman of Oceanteam’s Board.

“In a difficult time for the Company, Mr. Legger has been instrumental in moving Oceanteam in a positive direction and the Board praises him for those efforts and dedication.”

Oceanteam’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Jos van Dijk, is also leaving the company with immediate effect. His position will be assumed by Hendrik Hazenoot on an interim basis.
