The Service  Operations Vessel (SOV) is scheduled to be delivered in 2020 and is being built in accordance with DNV GL Rules.

Earlier this year, GE Renewable Energy contracted Bernhard Schulte to provide an SOV which will be used for the maintenance of the 66 GE Haliade 6MW wind turbines on the Merkur offshore wind farm, the last of which has just been installed.

The SOV will provide accommodation for up to 120 persons and will be equipped with a centrally positioned walk-to-work motion compensated gangway and an elevator tower for personnel and cargo transfers, as well as a 3D compensated crane.
