The merged Robur Wind will enable enhanced expertise in complex solutions, increased regional and global coverage, as well as an extended service portfolio that covers all phases of the wind turbine lifetime, according to SSC Wind.

Robur Wind, which comprises WKA and ROSCH, will stay part of the Robur Industry Service Group. The combined entity is expected to have approximately EUR 60 million in revenues and 600 specialists across multiple geographies, the German company said.

The transaction is scheduled to be completed by the end of November.

Robur said it aims to develop the Robur Wind business unit further within the industry service group in the upcoming years both organically and through select acquisitions and further investment in the internationalization and technological development of SSC Wind, WKA and ROSCH.

SSC Wind provides technical development services through installation services, electrical planning to the assembly including commissioning and services of wind turbines. Robur Wind is a provider of onshore and offshore maintenance services, as well as blade maintenance.
