The campaign included five major component exchanges.

Bold Tern will soon start mobilising for the 1.2GW Hornsea Project One offshore wind farm in the UK, according to Fred. Olsen Windcarrier.

The vessel will be in charge of transporting and installing Siemens Gamesa 7MW wind turbines at the site some 120 kilometres off the coast of Yorkshire.

Under the contract, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier will install approximately half of the wind farm’s 174 turbines.
