According to Chevalier Floatels, the vessel will mainly be transferring crews to and from offshore substations in the German Bight.

The duration of the contract is two months, with options for extending. The work is being conducted for a return customer, the company said.

Additionally, DP Galyna recently concluded two months of work on a project in the German Bight. The vessel was used for accommodating personnel during commissioning works.

The two W2W vessels each comprise an Ampelman XL type heave compensated gangway and have low air draft to ensure the safety of offshore wind turbines.

The 70m long vessels respectively provide 38 cabins with 50 beds.
