After this deadline, RVO.nl intends to invite the interested companies to submit their proposals.

The Hollandse Kust (west) offshore wind farm zone is located 51 kilometres off the west coast of the Netherlands. It comprises two 760MW lots covering approximately 349km2.

It is one of the three offshore wind zones identified in the Dutch Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap 2030.

The Dutch government expects to issue a permit tender call or calls for Hollandse Kust (west) in 2020/2021, as part of its plans to add further 7GW of offshore wind capacity in the Dutch North Sea from 2024 to 2030. The wind farms at the zone are expected to be commissioned in 2024/2025.
