Rotos 360 provided the wind farm with a full turnkey solution, which included labor and vessel supply, full inspection and repairs, as well as a follow-up analysis.

The UK-based company, part of James Fisher and Sons, carried out 38 internal blade repairs during the six-month project.

The work was led by Rotos 360’s Project Manager Simon Wood and Siemens Gamesa’s Technical Project Manager, with the repair works completed by the Rotos specialist blade teams.

“We would like to thank SGRE and the Orsted site team for its support over the last six months in delivering a safe project, on time and within budget. This project has further complemented our 100% safety track record with zero lost time incidents,” said John Galliford, Operations Director at Rotos 360.

The 210MW Westermost Rough offshore wind farm, located approximately 8km off the East coast of Yorkshire near Withernsea, features 35 Siemens Gamesa 6MW turbines which have been fully operational since 2015.
