Correll Services Wraps Up Formosa 1 Phase 2 Job
Correll Services has completed the subsea and land cable termination and testing works at the Formosa 1 Phase 2 offshore wind farm in Taiwan.

Correll Services was in charge of project documentation, export cable (HV & FO) jointing at the TJB and OSS, array cable terminations (HV & FO) on 22 assets, and post-installation testing from the OSS to offshore assets.
The UK-based company carried out the activities under a contract awarded by Formosa 1 project turnkey contractor Jan De Nul Group in February.
“We would like to thank everyone that was involved in the project to make it a successful operation. We have gained a vast amount of experience from completing the first commercial OWF in the Taiwanese waters,” Correll Services stated.
The 120MW Formosa 1 Phase 2 is an extension of the existing two-turbine Formosa 1 Phase 1 project.
It comprises 20 Siemens Gamesa 6MW turbines, which were installed at the project site at the beginning of October. Full commissioning is expected by the end of the year.
