The vessel was ordered by the Dublin-based Farra Marine.

Penguin Shipyard started building the 27-metre catamaran, the third in its Windflex 27 series, in September 2020.

The delivery is scheduled for the second quarter of 2021.

The catamaran has a deadweight of above 50t, features two working decks, and has an operating speed in excess of 29 knots.

The design of the vessel is compliant with European regulations for the transfer of 24 offshore workers and will be classed with BV, Incat Crowther, the designer of the vessel, said.

Last month, Farra Marine ordered its second Incat Crowther crew transfer vessel from Penguin Shipyard.
