With this agreement, NSE and Deutsche Windtechnik will jointly be able to provide competitive and comprehensive O&M services for offshore offshore wind farms in Japan by integrating Deutsche Windtechnik’s O&M technology and know-how, with NSE’s own EPCI business experiences for large-scale offshore steel structures and its own O&M expertise for various projects, the partners said.

With more than 30 years of experience, Deutsche Windtechnik is one of the world’s leading O&M service providers, currently providing O&M service for various offshore wind farms around the world, primarily in Europe, the firm said.

In 2022, the German company was hired by Eneco to perform a major component exchange at the Princess Amalia offshore wind farm in the Netherlands.

The same year, Deutsche Windtechnik also signed contracts for seven additional offshore wind farms on which the company will carry out underwater inspections.
