When it comes to Arkona, the project is located 35 kilometres northeast of the island of Rügen.
The offshore wind farm, which was commissioned in 2019, features 60 Siemens SWT 6.0-154 turbines. Arkona is a joint project between RWE, Equinor, and Energy Infrastructure Partners. RWE operates the offshore wind farm on behalf of the partners.
