RWE has awarded Swedish offshore survey company Njord Survey a three-year framework agreement for surveys using remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) across its offshore wind farms in the UK and European waters.

“Over the past years our teams have surveyed more than 23 full offshore wind farm areas on behalf of the wider industry, and we believe this latest framework agreement is a clear recognition of that experience. It confirms our position as a trusted partner for the offshore wind industry and lets us keep delivering high-resolution data with precision, safety, and lowemission vessel operations.”
According to the Swedish firm, offshore campaigns will, under this framework agreement, be delivered and performed through carbon-neutral operations that prove sustainability and high performance can be seamlessly integrated.

Earlier this year, Njord Survey signed a three-year framework agreement with Norwegian state-owned energy firm Equinor for the delivery of pipeline inspection and integrity services offshore Europe.
In October 2025, Njord Survey reported a long-term framework agreement with 50Hertz for survey services that will support offshore wind development in the German Baltic Sea.
