Ørsted Appoints New Investor Relations Head

Danish offshore wind developer Ørsted has appointed Allan Bødskov Andersen as its new Head of Investor Relations.

Andersen succeeds Daniel Lerup, who has been appointed CFO of Ørsted Offshore, the largest business unit in Ørsted.

In this role, Daniel Lerup succeeds Rasmus Errboe who will take over the responsibility for Merchant Products & Strategic Customers in addition to his current responsibilities for Partnerships & M&A and Asset Management in Ørsted Offshore.

Since joining Ørsted in 2006, Andersen has held a number of senior management roles in Finance, including as Head of Investor Relations, prior to the company’s IPO in 2016. He most recently comes from the position as Head of Ørsted’s Treasury & Risk Management and as CFO of our Customer Solutions business.

In addition to his new role as Head of Investor Relations, Andersen will continue to lead Treasury & Risk Management, and he’ll also take over the responsibility for Financial Planning & Analysis and Markets & Investment Support.

Before joining Ørsted in 2006, Andersen worked with the Central Bank of Denmark. He holds a PhD in Finance from Aarhus School of Business and an MSc in Economics and Econometrics from Southampton University, UK.
