Half of Baltic Eagle Offshore Wind Turbines Up

Wind Farm Update

Half of the 50 wind turbines that will make up the Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm in Germany have been installed, according to information in Iberdrola’s financial report for the first half of 2024.

The 476 MW offshore wind farm, currently under construction in the German Baltic Sea, will comprise 50 Vestas V174-9.5 MW wind turbines installed on monopile foundations by Fred. Olsen Windcarrier’s jack-up vessel Blue Tern

The wind turbine installation at the Baltic Eagle project site started in May and the offshore wind farm is scheduled to be built and commissioned by the end of this year.
