Eurazeo Invests EUR 70 Million in German Joint Venture Building New Offshore Wind Service Vessels

The European investment group Eurazeo, through Eurazeo Transition Infrastructure Fund (ETIF), has made a EUR 70 million equity investment in MPC OSE Offshore, a joint venture recently established by the investment and asset management firm MPC Capital and German offshore services provider O.S. Energy, which teamed up to develop, build and manage offshore wind service vessels.

In November last year, MPC Capital and O.S. Energy announced that they partnered to build a fleet of next-generation service vessels that will be used primarily for offshore wind farms in the North and Baltic Seas.

The joint venture commissioned the construction of the first vessel at the Danish Esbjerg Shipyard in early November 2024 and secured the option for five further units. The total investment volume of the six new build Offshore Survey and Service Vessels (OSSVs) is around EUR 130 million.

Delivery of the first vessel is expected in the first half of 2026.
