This webinar will describe the concept of the lidar use case. The use case concept is adopted from Systems Engineering and helps to organise the diverse options made available by lidar. The framework it provides allows us to describe the different measurements made possible by lidar, the circumstances in which they are used and the purposes they fulfil, helping us understand how lidar fits in with the aims and objectives of broader measurement campaigns. Real world lidar use case studies will illustrate this.
