SeaRoc Opens New Office in Sydney

Australian born engineer Derek Powell, with over 18 years professional experience in the manufacturing, Formula 1 motorsport and construction industries, will head up the venture as SeaPlanner’s Australian Account Manager.

The SeaPlanner system provides a complete management and tracking solution for all project data and information for onshore, near shore and offshore projects. This includes personnel, vessel & vehicle tracking, and solutions for the management of data, documents, PPE, fauna sightings and metocean feeds.

Derek Powell comments: “The move to open an office in Sydney enables us to continue our high standards of quality and support for Australasian and Asian users as our client base continues to increase.”

SeaPlanner has developed an innovative portfolio of software and technology solutions to meet the demands of clients on the most challenging of projects, with bespoke solutions being tailored to each client’s requirements. SeaPlanner is utilised by projects in remote locations and busy waterways alike, where health and safety demands require the accurate location of personnel and vessels at all times.

SeaPlanner has a proven track record working with dredging specialists such as Dredging International and Van Oord, and large energy utilities such as DONG Energy, E.ON and Vattenfall. The software is scalable to a wide range of industries from multi-million dollar construction and operations sites in the LNG, dredging, and renewable energy sectors, to small scale vessel owners who only need to track their own personnel and assets.

Dominic Stratton, SeaPlanner Manager said: “SeaPlanner is continuing to evolve and meet the demands of our wide range of clients, having just released our unique online tool ‘Induction Manager’. Our new Australian office is just another way in which we are expanding our team and suite of tools to ensure we continue to provide reliable and bespoke solutions to clients worldwide.”
