Workshop on Reaching Bigger Turnover in OW Sector to Be Held in Kent, UK

The Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) and GROW:OffshoreWind are organizing a workshop aimed at business leaders and senior managers seeking to grow turnover in the renewables sector and offshore wind in particular. 

The event to be held on 7th October at the Orchards Conference Centre in Kent will be an interactive session where attendees will learn from industry experts how they can overcome some of the challenges faced when trying to break into this growing market. Industry leaders include:

  • Honor Green Learn directly from the Vattenfall Project Procurement Manager how to navigate their pre-qualification and supplier selection process
  • Rita Udoh from Achilles will provide valuable insight into how buyers filter and select suppliers
  • Seb Rae from RenewableUK will provide the very latest industry news and an update of the local, national and international opportunities in offshore wind
  • Deb Sen from the Ministry of Growth will provide practical advice and guidance to prepare a business for growth and offer key tips for writing successful bids
  • Fern Doherty from GROW:OffshoreWind will explain how a business can access up to £500k of grant funding and describe how this national programme has benefited other businesses
