ZTT will manufacture and deliver a 45-kilometre, 220kV export cable system which will connect the wind farm’s offshore booster station to an onshore centralized control centre in Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province.

Located some 30 kilometres off China’s mainland and to the southeast of the Hailing Island, the CECEP Yangjiang Nanpeng Island is being developed by the China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP).

The wind farm covers an area of around 58km2 in the South China Sea and will comprise 55 wind turbines installed in water depths of between 23 and 32 metres.
