Vestas Signs Contract for 72 Offshore Wind Turbines (Belgium)

Vestas has signed a conditional contract with Northwind NV for 72 V112 3MW offshore wind turbines.

The company is planning to build the Bank Zonder Naam wind farm offshore Zeebrugge in Belgium.

Northwind NV is the joint venture between the two Belgian companies Colruyt Group (66.7%) and Aspivari (33.3%).

The construction is expected to begin in 2013.
