Germany: PNE WIND Still Owns Gode Wind II

The wind farm project developer, PNE WIND AG, continues to hold all of the shares in the “Gode Wind II” offshore wind farm project.

The sale of the project company agreed on 29th December 2011 did not become effective because HYSSING Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, held by the Danish company, Brancor Capital Partners APS, did not make the payments on 23rd March 2012 as agreed.

PNE WIND AG will now conduct sales discussions with other parties interested in purchasing this wind farm.

It is planned to locate the wind farm in the North Sea, about 38 kilometres seaward of the island of Norderney and approval has already been granted by the Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie (BSH) (German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency). 84 offshore wind energy systems with a total nominal output of 252 MW are to be constructed in “Gode Wind II”.
