Germany: BLG to Present Its Services at Husum Wind Energy 2012

BLG WindEnergy Logistics will present its logistics services to the offshore industry at the Husum Wind Energy 2012.

The spectrum of BLG’s services includes organizing and managing the logistics chain from procurement and production, storage and transportation to installation at sea. In Bremerhaven, BLG has set up an offshore terminal, on which up to 900 tons and 65 meters high foundation structures for offshore installations will be temporarily stored. The so-called tripods for the Global Tech 1 and Trianel wind farms were transported to the terminal with the special pontoon, OFFSHORE BHV I, from the manufacturers Weserwind in Fischereihafen and SIAG in Emden.

Sometimes, even the final assembly is performed at the offshore terminal.

BLG Logistics will be exhibiting at the stand 2B09.
