Denmark: Blue Water Shipping Congratulates Romo Port with Butendiek Contract

Romo Port on the West coast of Denmark has signed a contract with WPD for the Butendiek project consisting of 80 turbines.

“This marks an important step for Romo port that has struggled to be noticed in the offshore wind industry as suitable port for operation in competition with the larger ports. From Blue Water we would like to congratulate Romo Port with the signature”, says Business Development Manager Jacob Kjærgaard.

The contract with WPD is subject to final closure on finances by end 2012. Blue Water Shipping is the only shipping company with local office in the port of Romo.
