The background for this event is the concern expressed among the owners in our advisory board from Statoil, Statkraft, Vattenfall, o2 and Arise Windpower. They feel uncertainty of which cost toexpect to maintain good blade performance, how to act after end ofwarranty, how to organise an efficient regime for blade maintenance and also what to expect from the modern blades (+45 meters).This is a unique event, never given before in Germany, where we will formulate a strategy that balances costs and power output – in order to optimise blade performance – from an end-user perspective.
