USA: New Wave Energy to Power Buffalo Sabres

A Buffalo-based electric and natural gas supply company, New Wave Energy Corp., will supply electricity to First Niagara Center, the home of the Buffalo Sabres hockey team.

The three-year agreement was announced on Tuesday and the arrangement will start this season.

The electric company’s name will be displayed on the penalty boxes and the Sabres’ power play, the Buffalo News site informs.
