Denmark GEO to Host Offshore Geotechnical Engineering Course

Offshore and onshore geotechnical specialist, GEO, is holding 2-day International Course on Offshore Geotechnical Engineering on the (16-17)th of January 2014.

The program includes elaborations on:

  •  Geological conditions, site and geophysical / seismic survey;
  • Geotechnical investigation (borehole sampling and cone penetration testing (CPT);
  • Laboratory testing – classification and advanced;
  • Engineering interpretation of the overall soil data;
  • Conventional design of different types (shallow and deep) offshore foundations;
  • Numerical modeling (FEM) of soil-foundation interaction for different offshore structures;

The course is applicable to experienced, as well as young engineers and practitioners, working with oil / gas and wind energy offshore projects.
