There was some excitement yesterday in Wells-next-the-Sea, as John Craven and the team from BBC’s Countryfile arrived for a planned visit to the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm.
Arriving at the Scira offices at 5.30am in the morning for a safety induction, John and his film crew then departed from the Outer Harbour on the vessel MPI Dulcinea to film some footage of the wind farm’s construction progress. Back at the Outer Harbour later that morning, John interviewed Scira’s General Manager Einar Strømsvåg
The footage and interview will form part of a Countryfile article on wind energy, which will be broadcast on BBC1 on Sunday 16th October 2011.
