Record Output for Wind Turbines in UK

Wind power production in UK reached record due to the storm before the New Year.

Onshore and offshore wind turbines produced almost 20% more power than previous record, and supplied 12.2% of UK energy demand on December 28, reports Reuters.

Currently, there are 3515 wind turbines installed in the UK, with total capacity of 5,970.6 MW.
