Germany: TenneT Connects Global Tech I to Grid Earlier

Windreich AG has announced that TenneT ensured grid connection for Windreich’s offshore wind farm Global Tech I ahead of schedule by connecting to an existing converter station platform (BARD I).

The 400 MW offshore wind farm is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2013, comprising 80 Areva Multibrid 5 MW wind turbines, with annual electricity production enough to supply 1 million people.

During the construction phase in the spring of 2013, the first electricity will be fed to the grid.

In addition, Windreich AG offers an opportunity to those interested to participate with EUR 250,000 in Global Tech I, with returns of over ten percent, making that way a real lasting contribution to the energy change.
