Germany: Windreich Makes No Extra Costs for Consumers

The construction and connection to the grid of Windreich’s North Sea projects Global Tech I, Deutsche Bucht and MEG 1 are running right on schedule. This makes Windreich AG the only project planner that hasn’t caused any additional burden for the consumers.

“The largest investment is needed for the construction of offshore wind farm components such as wind turbines, substation, construction and logistics park cabling, which must be completely contractually defined. All these contracts require high down payments, worth tens of millions. Because Windreich AG has done this homework early, the Agency was able to instruct TenneT to build the appropriate network connections. Through this neat project planning from the beginning Windreich AG avoided causing any damages to the end customers. This means no negative impact on the price of electricity, “ said Willi Balz, founder, CEO and sole shareholder of Windreich AG.
