VIDEO: Marylanders Gathered to Support Offshore Wind

A poll released on January 17 shows that 72% of Marylanders support investing in the development of offshore wind power.

Also, Governor Martin O’Malley introduced a bill last month, which will create a framework that will support the development of a 200 MW offshore wind project and establish a regulatory framework that will allow additional projects to interconnect in Maryland.

As we reported today, renewable energy advocates say that the Maryland offshore wind project could be an outbreak for the U.S. offshore wind industry.
