Tenders Invited for Piling Work at Innogy Nordsee 1 Offshore Wind Farm (Germany)

RWE’s Innogy Nordsee 1 GmbH has issued an invitation to tender on piling work at its Offshore Wind Farm Innogy Nordsee 1.

This includes the supply of substructure and foundations for wind turbine generators (WTG), installation of topside and substructure and/or installation of substructure and foundation for WTG.

Each substructure and foundation consists of one monopile and a transition piece. The certified design for the 54 standard steelwork monopile substructures and foundations will be delivered by the contracting entity.

Innogy Nordsee 1 GmbH plans to involve the contractor during the detailed design phase of the substructures and foundations. This allows the contractor to modify the detailed design as needed for its fabrication facilities. This design will be an integral part of the contract to be awarded. Alternatively, the contractor is entitled to develop foundations with their own certified / certifiable (basic and detailed) design in the existing time frame.

The second part of the tender, called Lot 10.02, is related to installation of topside and substructure. This involves the optional installation of one substation that consists of one topside and one substructure and foundation for the topside. The substructure and foundation shall be a standard braced steelwork jacket substructure and foundation including four piles.

The third and last part, called Lot 10.05, includes installation of substructure and foundation for WTGs. This consists of the installation of at least 44 and maximum 54 substructures and foundations. Each substructure and foundation comprises one monopile and a transition piece.

Tenders may be submitted for a part or the whole project.

The Innogy Nordsee 1 Offshore Wind Farm is situated approximately 32 kilometres north of the island of Juist, between the traffic separation area Terschelling-German Bight and German Bight Western Approach.
