NEA Director and Danish Minister Meet in CNREC

Mr. Liu Qi, Deputy General Director of National Energy Administration of China (NEA) and Mr. Morgens Jensen, Trade and Development Minister of Denmark had a meeting in China National Renewable Energy Center (CNREC) on April 25, 2014.

Mr. Liang Zhipeng, the Deputy Director of New Energy Department of NEA, Mr. Wang Zhongying, Director of CNREC and Mr. Søren Bindesbøll, First Secretary of Economy, Growth and Department Policy, Mr. Christian van Maarschalkerweerd, Energy Counselor of Denmark Embassy and other relevant people participated this meeting.

Mr. Liu Qi went through the progress and achievements in renewable energy industry jointly made by China and Denmark in the beginning and introduced the current situation and market potential.

Mr. Morgens Jensen also introduced Denmark’s efforts in global green growth, green energy and green economy development, expecting that CNREC could be the platform for the cooperation of China and Denmark in promoting the development of renewable energy in Africa and other developing countries.

Mr. Morgens Jensen, on behalf of Prime Minister, also presented the Invitation to Mr. Liu Qi to the Global Green Growth Forum in Copenhagen from October 20th to 21th.

After the meeting, Mr. Liu Qi and Mr. Morgens Jensen visited Renewable Energy Information and Analysis Center (REIAC, Department of CNREC) and listened to the introduction of Renewable Energy Decision Support Platform from Mr. Wang Zhongying.
