BMT Nigel Gee (BMT), a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, the leading international maritime design, risk management and engineering consultancy, will showcase its portfolio of high performance vessels at this year’s Seawork International exhibition at the ABP Port of Southampton next week.

BMT continues to be at the forefront in the design of high performance, customised wind farm support vessels for the offshore industry. With a suite of vessel designs ranging from 18m to 28m in length, all with options for waterjet, fixed pitch or controllable pitch propellers, BMT has established strong relationships with shipyards worldwide.

Ed Dudson, Technical Director at BMT Nigel Gee comments: “2014 has been a fantastic year for us. Not only have we secured a number of new orders, but we’re now seeing more of our designs enter service, demonstrating their excellent performance in the most challenging of conditions. Seawork provides us with a great opportunity to showcase some of these achievements and reinforce our ability to deliver cutting edge designs to the offshore wind farm industry.”

Sister company, BMT ARGOSS’ ship handling and manoeuvring simulator, REMBRANDT will also play a role at the show by facilitating the demonstration of a number of innovative products from award winning manufacturer, Marine Data Systems including its marine navigation equipment and associated control systems.
