Following the investigation into the accident that happened on Saturday night (July 6) at the Butendiek offshore wind farm, Ballast Nedam said that it has implemented mitigation measures to prevent such unfortunate events from happening again.
The company informed that a safety alert will follow at the beginning of August.
Ballast Nedam said that the investigation team working on the accident case found out the root cause of the accident. However, it did not provide further details about the investigation findings.
On the evening of July 10, the Svanen heavy-lift vessel resumed monopile installation.
