Business & Finance

Following the award of the German supply contract from Dong Energy in 2012, ERSG has won another contract with the offshore wind energy developer to supply staff, this time to its UK offshore wind projects.

Over the next 5 years, Dong Energy estimates the number of contractors required for UK projects alone to be in excess of 500.

ERSG already has a successful partnership with Dong Energy, having won a 5-year supply agreement for contract staff for their German offshore wind projects in 2012, having supplied Consultants to Dong Energy’s offshore wind projects in Germany, Denmark and the UK since 2009.

Nigel Wilson, Head of ERSG’s Wind Division said: “We have worked very closely with Dong Energy to understand their business and supply highly skilled individuals to support their wind power projects. This contract further demonstrates our unique understanding of the offshore wind energy industry and our dedicated offshore wind recruitment specialists have an outstanding record to date of supporting DONG Energy in meeting their resourcing requirements in this field.”

Dong Energy are the global market leader within the offshore wind market and have built more offshore wind farms than any other company in the world.

Lars Svendsen, DONG Energy Team Leader added: “We were sure ERSG will help Dong Energy to have the most skilled people working on the Dong Energy wind farms projects and also support Dong Energy’s strategy for reducing the cost of electricity from offshore wind farms.”
