Reef Subsea and Port of Blyth have signed a service agreement, which will see Reef Subsea utilise the mobilisation and demobilisation facilities at the port.

Reef Subsea has signed a service agreement with the Port of Blyth for a new storage, maintenance and mobilisation facility as part of the company’s continued growth plan. The new facility provides 1800m2 of serviced internal and external storage space for asset maintenance and storage combined with office facilities for a team of personnel.

Reef Subsea now has direct access to two mobilisation quays and the required infrastructure to support mobilisation and demobilisation at immediate notice.

Reef Subsea has considerable experience installing and trenching flexible products (submarine power cables, umbilicals, flowlines and pipelines) and post-trench burial of all subsea products into offshore oil and gas, renewable, seismic, and telecommunication sectors and has enjoyed continued growth since its formation in 2012.

The Port of Blyth is a modern offshore energy-focussed Trust Port, strategically located on the East coast of the UK, handling vessels of over 9m draft and providing a comprehensive of handling and logistics services to the sector.
