French Port Preparing for Offshore Wind Works

Nantes – Saint-Nazaire Port Authority (Grand Port Maritime (GPM) de Nantes Saint-Nazaire) is eyeing opportunities in the offshore wind industry, which is yet to come to France. 

The port authority is looking for contractors to carry out port civil engineering work, aiming to ensure the design and undertaking of work regarding an industrial project creating a platform for a future home for the logistics hub at Saint-Nazaire for storage, assembly and boarding of offshore wind farm equipment.

This project includes geotechnical engineering services for reinforcement of docks, leveling of the port’s yards and the establishment of roads and various networks through the implementation of the port hub.
