Siemens Power Generation Services, Wind Power & Renewables business has a new global CEO. Mark Albenze succeeds Tim Holt who is taking over new responsibilities within Siemens.
Prior to assuming this new position, Albenze served as CEO of the Siemens Wind Power onshore business in the Americas from 2011 to 2014. He joined Siemens in 1998 and has held various positions in marketing, business development, supply management and sales in the U.S. and South America.
Mr. Albenze begins in his new position effective immediately and will be based in the global headquarters for Siemens Power Generation Services division in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Siemens currently provides service and maintenance for more than 7,600 installed wind turbines globally, with a combined generating capacity of approximately 18 gigawatts (GW).
