The Inspectorate now has approximately three months to prepare for the examination, during which residents will be able to register to become an interested party on the application.

The Hornsea 2 offshore wind project has been proposed for an area approximately 89km off the Yorkshire coast. It will comprise up to 360 turbines with a total maximum output of 1,800Mw.
