France Releases Details for Floating Wind Tender

Following the call for proposals, French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) has published details and documents on all three parts of the call being funded under the Future Investment Program.

The call for floating wind proposals aims to support the realization of pilot wind farms across four designates sites comprising floating turbines, for which the French government has set aside EUR 150 million.

The floating wind farms will have three to six turbines, with turbines having a capacity of at least 5 MW.

Three sites are located in the Mediterranean and one off southern Brittany.

The call for proposals is open until April 4, 2016.
